Demetri Martin will embark on his Let's Get Awkward tour this summer

The comedy of Demetri Martin relies on equal parts absurdity, pithy observations, quick-witted one-liners and at times, awkwardness. Extreme, stifling awkwardness. And now, for the comedian’s next tour, that awkwardness should be front and center as he is set to embark on a summer 2017 tour titled the, Let’s Get Awkward Tour. This upcoming series of dates will mostly take Martin through theaters out East, including stops in Port Chester, Boston, and D.C. He’ll also make his way to Orlando on March 23 and Dallas on June 16. Tickets for the Port Chester and Dallas dates go on sale Friday, March 17. Check out the full list of dates below.

In addition to hitting the road, Martin also plans to release his self-produced film “Dean” on June 2. Written and directed by Martin and featuring Kevin Kline, “Dean” is a “comedic and heartfelt tale about a father and son coming to terms with love, loss and everything in between.” Watch the trailer here.
