Denver Comic Con shocked the geek community with today's announcement that John Cusack has been added to the guest list. Allow that to sink in for a moment: John Cusack. The heartthrob turned Golden Globe-nominated actor/screenwriter is best known for "Say Anything," "Sixteen Candles," and of course the hysterical classic "Better Off Dead." He later starred in fabulous films such as "The Grifters," "Eight Men Out," "Being John Malkovich," "High Fidelity," and "Grosse Pointe Blank." Cusack is here for Friday and Saturday only. His panel is scheduled for 4:00 MT this Friday and no doubt the line will be long. The Colorado Convention Center hosts the pop culture party this week June 30 – July 2, 2017.

This year's guest list is nothing short of stunning with none other than Captain Malcom Reynolds himself Nathan Fillion attending. “Browncoats” and "Castle" fans have their autographs and photo ops planned. Fillion joins other notable Denver Comic Con guests such as Felicia Day (“Supernatural”), Finn Jones (“Marvel’s Iron Fist,” “Game of Thrones”), Catherine Tate ("Doctor Who"), Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin (Netflix’s “Stranger Things”), Ryan Hurst ("Sons of Anarchy), Khary Payton (“The Walking Dead”), Greg Grunberg ("Heroes," "Alias," "The Force Awakens), Oliver and James Phelps ("Harry Potter"), Weird Al Yankovic, and the list shines on.

Denver Comic Con is one of the most pop culture conventions in America with fans flying in from around the country and even around the globe to take part. The popularity is due in part to their ability to snag the most incredible guests in film, television, authors, and artists. The dealer's room is jaw-dropping, and the activities are amazing. It happens to be a family-friendly environment with the largest portion of the show floor, more than 9,000 square feet dedicated to teens and children with activities.
