Denver Comic Con 2018: Tickets now on sale for the seventh annual convention
AXS Studios

It is time once again to gear up for Denver's annual celebration of fandoms. Denver Comic Con will take over the Colorado Convention Center June 15-17, 2018 for another year of geeky celebration. Tickets are now available right here on AXS.

This year, DCC will be using AXS' Flash Seats system, which is an ID-based digital ticketing system that allows you to enter an event with any form of convenient digital ID, such as a credit card or a Mobile ID through the Flash Seats mobile app. This concept, similar to the e-ticket in the airline industry, allows you to manage your tickets via the Internet. It also gives you the ability to sell, buy and transfer seats through an endorsed marketplace. Find out more about Flash Seats right here.

The biggest change with the use of Flash Seats will be the elimination of mailed badge. Don't worry! Everyone will still get a badge, which they will pick up at the event. Speed Pass holders will have a dedicated line to pick up their badges at the event using their Flash Seats. Additional details for badge pickup will be made available soon.

It's still too early for guest announcements, but DCC stated on their website that they'll be making their first guest announcement in January 2018 and encourage fans post ideas and suggestions on Facebook.

Applications to be an Exhibitor are now open and so are submission for Education Sessions. Denver Comic Con has also opened up submissions for panels for the 2018 convention.

"This is a chance for you to share your wisdom and knowledge with your fellow pop culture enthusiasts," DCC stated on their site. "We’re looking for great panels covering comics, sci-fi, fantasy, games, cosplay, literature, film making, art demonstrations and much, much more."

Space for panels is limited and those who submit a request are encouraged to make their submission stand out to really impress the people at DCC making the final discussions. Panel submissions will remain open until February 28, 2018. Find out more on Denver Comic Con's website and stay tuned to AXS for more Denver Comic Con news and announcements.
