Denver fans packed in the popular downtown bar Brooklyn's to enjoy Breckenridge Brewery's annual Denver Comic Con beer release party last night; June 2, 2017. People were lined up over an hour before the doors opened for their shot at snagging one of the limited Denver Comic Con collector's pint glasses designed by Noah Eisenman. The cosplay was in full force with some fabulous "Guardians of the Galaxy" outfits, two Wonder Women, two Wolverines, a Hawkeye and so much more. Local fan Ana MacDonell shared how much she loved the new Breckenridge brew I am Brewt!, as did everyone else. The bartenders had quite a time keeping the taps flowing. Along with the tasty beer and food, there was trivia, music and dancing. This annual party is a very popular warm-up party to get ready for Denver Comic Con.

Less than a month away, one of the largest pop culture conventions in America is taking place June 30-July 2, 2017. In its sixth year, Denver Comic Con is not only a good time; it is an important fundraiser for Pop Culture Classroom. The organization helps out kids in underserved neighborhoods through art and creativity, giving them a chance to express themselves, learn and grow. This convention also happens to be family friendly and enjoyed by all ages.

Huge names are also headed to Denver. Celebs such as Nathan Fillion, Mike Colter, Billie Piper, Felicia Day, Weird Al Yankovic, Finn Jones, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Khary Payton, Oliver and James Phelps, Bonnie Wright, Wallace Shawn, Ben McKenzie and Robin Lord Taylor will be in attendance. Also, a big heads up to Buffy fans as none other than James Marsters, Eliza Dushku, Juliet Landau and Clare Kramer will be there for the 20th anniversary of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

The 3-day passes are already sold out, but the single day tickets for Friday and Saturday are still available. Get them before they're gone at AXS.com
