Before electronic DJ Dillon Francis drops his upcoming moombahton-influenced record, he's giving fans a little hello with the help of his friend Young Pinch. The Los Angeles-born DJ has dropped his latest single "Hello There," a vibrant song with just the right amount of pop in its hooks sung by Young Pinch. Listen to the new track above.
The song was being teased around L.A. over the last several days, with posters of a smiling man eating a pineapple popping up across town with the website www.hellothere.org listed below him. Turns out the posters were promotional ads for the single, which comes off Francis' own record label IDGAFOS.
The DJ released a joint song with G-Eazy earlier this year called "Say Less," which dropped in tune with news of his new record label. No release date has been given for Francis' upcoming album, but he's spent the better part of 2017 in the Caribbean and Central America working with reggae artists and musicians to get the moombahton feel.
He'll headline his own VIP New Year's Eve party at Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles this year. The event will also feature performances from Whethan and Team EZY. Keep it here for the latest Dillon Francis news when he announces a release date for the LP.
