Pop superstar Jennifer Lopez is back on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to her new single "Dinero." The collaboration with rapper Cardi B and DJ Khaled debuts at No. 80 on the chart, Billboard reported on June 5.
"Dinero" is Lopez's latest English-language single in a sea of Spanish tracks that she's been releasing over the past few years. Technically, it's a Spanglish song that was produced by DJ Khaled and features hip-hop star Cardi B. Their collaboration blends a shuffling Latin sound with trap music beats. Jennifer returns to the big-talking "Jenny from the Block" days, boasting about her income. "Everyday I'm alive I make a killing," she says. Khaled plays the hypeman as Cardi provides more cash-spending flexing. "I just want my money, chips, guac and queso," she spits. "Dinero" is a bilingual banger that cashes in on both music trends of the moment with attitude-packed returns from two of music's hottest Latinas.
Before "Dinero," Lopez's English-language single was "Us," which failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 last year. After a Billboard Music Awards performance last month and the flashy music video premiere, Jennifer returns to the chart with Cardi B, DJ Khaled and "Dinero" at No. 80. Over on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart, J. Lo's reggaeton-infused "El Anillo" sits at No. 16.
