These days, DJ Khaled is everywhere. It’s no surprise then, when the leading retailer of men's XL apparel, DXL, launches their holiday campaign, you’d see the music mogul/superstar at the center of it. On Nov. 7, A.O.C. in Los Angeles welcomed guests to celebrate DXL’s latest project, which features five of today’s most popular celebrities.
“Time to XL” celebrates men’s XL style, with a special focus on positivity and empowerment. Joining DJ Khaled in the mission is MLB All-Star David “Big Papi” Ortiz, NHL player Hal Gill, Sundance Head from “The Voice” and "Notoriously Dapper" blogger Kelvin Davis. Khaled and CEO, David Levin, were onsite Tuesday night in L.A. to honor the occasion. Sundance Head and Kelvin Davis were also in attendance, as well as other familiar faces such as Mike Rashid, Zach Miko, Tess Holliday and more.
“There has been a recent movement in women’s advertising that promotes body positivity,” David Levin, President and CEO of DXL Group said in a recent statement. “It’s time this message is carried over to men as well, and we hope to achieve that with this campaign.”
The message was heard loud and clear. Tuesday's launch party brought in a beautiful mixture of people from all walks of life, each with the same understanding - while fashion is what you wear, true style comes from who you are.
