For months, fans have been wondering who will perform at this year's Electric Zoo, which takes place on Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 1 through Sept. 3) at Randall's Island Park. The folks behind the festival told fans they would drop phase one of the lineup tomorrow, but they couldn't hold it in any longer. Today, they decided to drop the first slew of acts set to perform over on Facebook.
If you wanted major headliners, you're in for a treat. DJ Snake, who will headline the main stage on Friday, Sept. 1, just came back from headlining the Ultra Music Festival last weekend. Last year, he dropped his debut studio album Encore, which features the platinum singles "Middle (feat. Bipolar Sunshine)" and "Let Me Love You (feat. Justin Bieber"). On Saturday, Sept. 2, trance gurus Above & Beyond will headline. Last year, the trio released Acoustic II, which includes reworked versions of their most beloved songs. For Sunday, Sept. 3, Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz will join forces to close out the festival with an unforgettable B2B set.
Other acts confirmed for the event include Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Tchami, Slander, and Aly & Fila. You can check out who was announced during phase one below. Over 50 acts are set to be released closer to the festival.
This year's Electric Zoo is a homage to New York City, and you can expect some amazing visuals throughout Randall's Island Park. Three day passes are on sale right now. If you're looking to spend a bit more money for a better experience, you can choose between the VIP and platinum passes. You can also pick up ferry and shuttle pass for the event. Last year's Electric Zoo drew over 83,000 attendees.
