Donna Missal releases self-directed video 'Jupiter' ahead of North American tour

Originally, Donna Missal never intended to be the one on the big stage, in front of the mic, captivating audiences with her nonconformist aesthetic and sensual voice. Initially, Missal's music career began in the writing phase as she wrote songs for the 2013 film, How to be a Man. After finding moderate success as a writer, Missal wrote a passionate, lustful song entitled, "Keep Lying," in which she originally created in hopes that other musicians would reach out to her to perform. Surprisingly, Missal's recorded rendition of the song, went viral prompting her to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter herself.

Now, after the release of several successful singles, the release of her debut album in This Time (2018), and amassing a cult-like following of her own, Donna Missal is headlining her own live show traveling production beginning later this week called the This Time Tour. Donna Missal's upcoming tour is inspired by her upbringing being homeschooled as a youth. Missal recently took to her Instagram account to reveal that her tour will prom and high school yearbook themed, stating in one of her captions,

I was homeschooled. I never had a school dance or a picture day or a graduation. THIS TIME TOUR is your invitation to the winter and spring formal I never had. If you had a shitty time in school and want a re-do, or maybe you loved it and want to go back to that feeling, THIS TIME is your time. VIP packages will be available so you can take your very own NEW yearbook photo by Muriel Knudson and be a part of our CLASS OF ‘THIS TIME’ yearbook.”
