With its sawing synths and gurgling bass, the music of electronic producer Drezo explores the darker corners of dance floor. Next year, the Los Angeles-based producer will be taking his ghoulish house sound on the road with the aptly-named Evil Live tour.
On Wednesday, Drezo announced phase 1 of his tour, which kicks off in his hometown with a show at the El Rey on Friday, Jan. 19 (tickets) and includes a stop in New York City on Feb. 1 at the Highline Ballroom (tickets). You can get your tickets to the shows starting this Friday, Dec. 8; follow this link to get tickets to select dates right here on AXS.com.
Originally from Arizona, Drezo steadily been making a name for himself since he relocated to L.A. several years ago. Since then, he's been developing his distinctive sound through a series of remixes for artists like Dillon Francis, Destructo and Tchami and Maala. Earlier this year, he released the three-song Jaded EP and he recently dropped a killer remix of the Nas cut "Made You Look."
Longtime fans won't want to miss him, as Drezo is promising a "completely new live show next year incorporating everything I’ve done in the past as well as what will come from the future." Check out all of Drezo's newly-announced tour dates below and listen to his song "Real" in the video embedded above.
I’ve always had a bigger vision for this project, and it is time to share that vision with everyone. After working on this the last 3 months, it’s unreal to announce Phase 1 of my 2018 Evil Live Tour. I will be performing a completely new live show next year incorporating everything I’ve done in the past as well as what will come from the future.
