The star-studded 2019 BRIT Awards performer lineup has expanded to include Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, Rag’n’ Bone Man and The 1975. The latest group of artists join previously announced performers George Erza, Little Mix, and Jorja Smith.
The 1975 are nominated for two BRIT Awards this year, including the Mastercard British Album of the Year for their third studio album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. They are also up for British Group.
Smith heads to the 2019 BRIT Awards stage following the recent release of his Normani collab single and music video for “Dancing With a Stranger.” The three-time BRIT Award winner is nominated for British Male Solo Artist this year. He was previously nominated in the category in 2015.
Calvin Harris will notably make his BRIT Awards debut performance. He’s earned a career total 12 BRIT Awards nominations, with two this year for British Single of the Year and British Video of the Year for his Dua Lipa chart-busting collab hit “One Kiss.”
Lipa, of course, adds these nods to her BRIT Awards list. She’s earned 10 BRIT Awards nominations overall and won British Breakthrough Act and British Female Solo Artist last year. She’s double-nominated in both the British Single of the Year and British Video of the Year for “One Kiss,” as mentioned above, and “IDGAF.”
Finally, Rag’n’Bone Man are three-time BRIT Award winners, snagging the British Breakthrough Act and Critics’ Choice Awards last year. In 2018, he won Single of the Year for title track to his album of the same name, “Human.”
UK music fans are undoubtedly in for a massive musical treat as all of these artists take the 2019 BRIT Awards stage at The O2 in London on Feb. 20. Tickets to attend the ceremony and see the performers live are available at AXS. Follow this link to grab tickets now.
