Ed Sheeran's lead single "Shape of You" from the album Divide has been rock solid since its release. It debuted atop the Hot 100 songs chart and was the 27th song to do so in history before slipping for just one week in its second frame. Since that time, it has remained the most popular song across all formats that contribute to the formula. It's now spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 while leading all of the component charts.

"Shape of You" continues to be the most downloaded song on the Digital Songs chart. It also sold another 97,000 copies but dips 7 percent from last week. Becoming his first Radio Songs No. 1, "Shape" holds steady for a seventh week, having 171 million impressions in an all-genre format. Airplay continues to pick up for the Brit songwriter as it rises three percent for the week which ends on Sunday, versus sales and streaming which is tracked Friday through Thursday. It's become so much of a radio success that the last song to reach the 170 million mark was Adele's "Hello" at the beginning of 2016.

On Streaming Songs, "Shape" spends another week at No. 1 with 46.4 million listens through recognized official platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. In that format, however, "Shape" loses a mere three percent in activity.

Ed Sheeran is only the third artist to have taken control of all of the formula charts that make up the Hot 100. Prior to "Shape of You," The Chainsmokers' "Closer" featuring Halsey commanded all three for six weeks (plus the on-demand streaming chart), and Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk!" featuring Bruno Mars spent six and three weeks leading all charts. That track would lead for 14 weeks on the Hot 100, two weeks shy of tying the record set by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day" (16 weeks).

After spending two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, parent album Divide lowers to No. 2 with 119,000 total equivalent units and is down 34 percent in overall activity.
