Eddie Izzard's memoir Believe Me to be release on June 13.
English comedian Eddie Izzard has announced a brief U.S. tour from June 14-22 in support of his new memoir "Believe Me: A Memoir of Love, Death and Jazz Chickens," to be released by publisher Blue Rider Press (an imprint of Penguin Random House) on June 13.
For a comedian who typically plays monster-size venues such as Madison Square Garden, Hollywood Bowl and Wembley Arena, these shows will give Izzard fans an opportunity to witness the Emmy-Award winner in action in much smaller theaters, including a show at the Lincoln Theatre on June 15.
Detailing his childhood and the development of his career as a comedian, these intimate evenings will include Izzard performing stand-up, discussing his personal life, reading from his memoirs and ending each show with a Q&A session with the audience. Additionally, the ticket price includes a copy of the memoir that each audience member will receive upon entering the theater that night.
