Eels announce 2019 tour in support of 'The Deconstruction'

Many musicians couldn't fathom their work becoming apart of one of the most popular animated movie franchises in history but that just so happened to be the case for the Los Feliz, California-based rock band, EELS, led by frontman Mark Oliver Everett. The band originally founded in 1995, has officially released twelve projects throughout their history, seven of which have charted on the Billboard Hot 200.

The collective has found local and international success from their musical offerings some of which have found their way onto feature film original soundtracks. Such as their single "My Beloved Monster" which was featured on the Shrek soundtrack, "I Need Some Sleep" which made its way to the Shrek 2 soundtrack, and "Cancer for the Cure" on the American Beauty soundtrack. Now, EELS has released their first studio album in four years in The Destruction and are preparing to tour the project stateside this upcoming spring.
