Musician, instrumentalist, and producer Eve Minor embraces herself on her new EP, Shooting Stars, and this EP is her way of overcoming the past struggles with overcoming the foster care system, self-love, and toxic relationships. Her new EP gives voice to her newfound power, and her goal is to inspire other artists through her writing, especially encouraging young women to open up about their own personal struggles.
Minor is very open, playful and flirty, and has been compared to Prince with a feminine twist. Not only does she sing, she plays ten different instruments, and has been a successful cover model, featured in XXL, and New York Fashion week. Her musical inspirations are Vince Staples, Kendrick Lamar, YG, and Schoolboy Q. Her goal is to inspire women to follow their dreams, and encourage themselves. She has shared the musical stage with Kid Ink and Redman.
Minor's new EP debuts Friday, June 23 which is the last day of her tour. Minor tells AXS that Shooting Stars "isn't just a record to me. It's a piece of my heart and soul. The record of my breath, the rhythm is the song in my heart, and the words are my audible kiss. Breathe with me. Love with me. Cry with me. Smile with me."
