New Year’s Eve Blast at Fountain Square

The New Year’s Eve Blast at Fountain Square will be Cincinnati’s big event to ring in 2018. The entire family will have fun at this festive event, which will include music, games, food vendors, ice skating, food vendors, full bar, and more. Rozzi’s famous fireworks will blast off at midnight to greet the New Year. The skating rink will close and the music will end at 1 a.m. Admission will be free, but bring money for ice skating, food, and refreshments.

O’Keefe’s Ice Rink at Fountain Square

Kids and adults will love gliding across the ice at O’Keefe’s Ice Rink as they skate into the New Year. The Admission will be $6, and ice skate rentals will be $4.

Kids’ New Year’s Eve Countdown

Kids will countdown to the New Year and say goodbye to Scuba Santa, who will make his final appearance of the season at 5 p.m., before heading to the North Pole. New Year’s Eve Kids’ Countdown will include music, dancing, giveaways, and fun-filled activities for kids. Admission to this special holiday event will be free with Newport Aquarium admission.

Christmas at EnterTRAINment Junction will be held through the holiday season. The final two days will be New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day when they will close early. Take a journey to the North Pole by visiting the World’s Largest Indoor Train Display. Kids and adults will enjoy this holiday entertainment.

PNC Festival of Lights Happy Zoo Year

The Cincinnati Zoo has been transformed into a “Wild Wonderland” for the 35th Festival of Lights with three million LED lights for the PNC Festival of Lights. “Party Animals” of all ages will enjoy celebrating the New Year’s Eve Happy ZOO Year. Activities will include shows of Winter Wonders by Madcap Puppets, a chance to meet and greet with Father Time and Baby ZOO Year, and family fun. The celebration will be capped off with an early countdown to the New Year and a show of fireworks presented by Rozzi Fireworks.

The holiday show Cincinnati Choo Choo at Krohn Conservatory will be open daily, including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The model train exhibit travels through displays of historical buildings and seasonal plants. Admission $4-7, free for children 4 and under.

The dazzling light show at Coney Island will be open nightly, including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The family-friendly display will be a two-mile car ride through Christmas lights and displays.
