Celebrate the New Year with the family at the special New Year's Eve events in Los Angeles in 2017. The entire family will have fun at the many kid-friendly celebrations that will ring in 2018. 

EVE at Universal Studios Hollywood

EVE at Universal Studios will be one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Hollywood. Fill the last day of 2017 with rides and attractions and as day turns into night, celebrate with dancing, music, drinks, a special midnight countdown to the New Year, and a show of fireworks. One =-day general admission tickets will be $110-$116.

L.A. Zoo Lights 2017/18: Family New Year’s Eve

The entire family will ring in the new year in style at this special event that will include a dinner buffet, a carousel ride, DJ Dance party, games, and a live broadcast of the Times Square ball drop. After the party, visitors will be welcome to enjoy the holiday lights event L.A. Zoo Lights until the zoo closes for the night. Ticket prices will be $45-$69.

Celebrate the New Year at this daytime event specially geared for children. The party will include music by five D.J.s, noisemakers, party hats, dancing, and a countdown to the stroke of noon. Plan to arrive early because heavy traffic will be expected due to the Rose Bowl. Museum admission will be $13.

Zimmer Children’s Museum Balloon Drop

The Zimmer Children’s Museum will present balloon drops hourly between 11:18 a.m. and 3:18 p.m. You can also have fun decorating accessories and noisemakers. Admission $7.50.

Ring in the New Year with the family at this alcohol-free event put on by Grand Park and The Music Center. Celebrate the New Year with live music, food, photo booths, and a countdown on City Hall. N.Y.E.L.A. will be free admission.

New Year’s Eve at Knott’s Berry Farm

Knott’s Berry Farm is festively decorated for Knott's Merry Farm the holiday season through Jan. 7.  On New Year’s Eve they will kick it up a notch with extended hours, live entertainment, and a show of fireworks. There will be special seasonal performances, including Merry Christmas, Snoopy; the Calico Tree lighting Ceremony; and the nightly snow and glow. The line-up of New Year’s Eve entertainment will include Jumpin’ Joz Band and Memories Swing Dancers, Reindeer Rockers Duo, DJ Howly, Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies, and DJ JC. The fireworks spectacular will be at midnight to greet 2018.
