Celebrate New Year’s Eve at a family-friendly event in Louisville, Kentucky as 2017 turns into 2018. Kids and adults will enjoy ringing in the New Year looking at holiday lights, ice skating, and having fun as a family.

Louisville Holiday in the City
Nov. 23-Jan. 1 @ 12 p.m.

The entire family will enjoy skating into the New Year at Louisville Holiday in the City, aa ft from Mainsource Bank. New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day are the final two days the rink will be open, and the hours will be 12-6 p.m. Tickets are $12/Person for a 60-minute skate session with skate rentals. Tickets are $9/Person per 60-minute skate session without skate rental.

Lights Under Louisville

The MEGA Cavern is transformed into a huge holiday event every year and is considered on of the top tourist attractions in Kentucky. Take the family for a ride through the underground light display to be dazzled by the sight of two million sparkling lights and over 850 Christmas light displays. Admission is $27 per the carload.

Christmas in the Park

Elizabethtown’s Christmas in the Park is a festively decorated attracting featuring 100 lighted displays and glittering lights.  Guests will also be able to skate in the ice skating rink will be a skating rink this year. Touring the park is free, but donations will be accepted. Skating at the ice rink is $5/Adults 18+ and $3/youth 17 years and under.

Winter Ice Village

Kids and adults will enjoy gliding across the ice during the holidays at the United Trust Ice Rink in Triangle Park. The admission fee for 90 minutes of skating is $12 and includes skate rental.

Louisville Zoo

The family will have fun during a day at the Louisville Zoo. The zoo will be open on New Year’s Eve but closed on New Year’s Day. General admission tickets will be $6.95-$9.95.

BCM’s 26th Annual Holiday Toy Train Display

The Annual Toy Train displays is a holiday event that has delighted families in Northern Kentucky for years. The entire family will enjoy the model train exhibit, on 250 feet of model train tracks, vintage model trains, a Charles Dickens display, and more. The exhibit will be open on New Year’s Eve but closed on New Year’s Day. Tickets will be $5-$9.
