Ice Skating on the Plaza

The entire family will enjoy ice skating on the Rooftop Plaza during the holiday season. This is a popular family-friendly event that draws more than 16,00 guests to the rooftop plaza each year. Tickets are $10, which includes skate rental.
Gingerbread Village at Four Seasons

The Four Seasons Hotel will display this year’s Monopoly-themed Gingerbread Village 24 hours a day, so stop in and enjoy the creative village featuring 10 edible gingerbread houses. The display depicts well-known Austin businesses and landmarks, such as Zilker Park and Esther’s Follies.. On Dec. 4 and 5 the Four Seasons Hotel will hold Gingerbread Village Open Houses from 5-6 p.m.
Austin Trail of Lights

Austin’s largest holiday tradition is the dazzling Trail of Lights, presented by H-E-B. The community event draws 400,000 people a year during the holiday season. The festive holiday lights show features two million lights and more than 40 displays, along with holiday activities, entertainment, and food trucks. The 53rd Austin Trail of Lights is free and open to the public on opening night, Dec. 9. Check the event website for admission information and discounts.
Winter Wonderland at The Circuit

Millions of holiday lights will illuminate Circuit of the Americas during the Christmas season. Enjoy the festive light displays along with the family. There will also be activities available, including a skating rink, petting zoo, singing trees, camel rides, carnival rides, Santa’s Workshop, hot air balloon float, and more. General admission is $16, and children 6 and under are admitted free. There will be an added fee for some of the activities.
Holidays at The Domain

The Domain offers holiday events, including Holiday Light Shows, the Santa Photo Experience, and more. There will be complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides and carolers on Friday and Saturday nights through Dec. 23.

Trail of Lights in Wimberly

Stroll along a beautifully decorated walking path, illuminated with more than 100 lighted exhibits. There will be free entertainment on most nights, so check the schedule to see who will be performing and when Santa will be in his house. Admission will be free but donations are greatly appreciated.
Armadillo Christmas Bazaar

The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar will offer a shopping experience featuring national and local artists, live music, and a lively atmosphere. This will be a great place to do some holiday shopping for a gift for that special someone. Admission is $8, and kids 12 and under will be admitted free.

Christmas at Pioneer Farms

The historic Pioneer Farms offer a chance to step back to a different century at the farms on the self-guided walking tour. During the holiday season, they will feature the Frontier Christmas Celebration and games for children with Twelve Days of Christmas. Tickets are $5-$8.
