Light Up the Levee Grand Illumination

the Light Up the Levee: Grand Illumination is a vibrant holiday light show of dancing lights synchronized to music and a 50-ft. tall Christmas tree. Take the family to see the glittering holiday lights.  Admission will be free.

Cincideutsch Christkindlmarkt

The Cincideutsch Christkindlmarkt brings the tradition of the German Christmas Market to Fountain Square. Visit the open-air market for a leisurely day of shopping.  Admission to the market is free.

Santa’s Workshop at Washington Park

Take the kids to see Santa Claus and his band of merry elves at Washington Park on Saturdays before Christmas. Children will be able to visit with Santa. Be sure to bring your camera and take pictures of the family, and even the family dog, with Santa.

Macy’s Downtown Dazzle

The entire family will enjoy the holiday fun when Santa Claus rappels down the side of the office building to Macy’s rooftop, followed by a display of fireworks. The family-friendly program is free and open to the public.

O’Keefe’s Ice Rink at Fountain Square

Kids and adults will love gliding across the ice at O’Keefe’s Ice Rink. Santa Claus will strap on his skates and join the fun for Santa Skates at noon on weekends before Christmas (Dec. 9-10, 15-26, & 23-24). Admission will be $6, and ice skate rentals will be $4.

PNC Festival of Lights at Cincinnati Zoo

The Cincinnati Zoo has been transformed into a “Wild Wonderland” for the 35th Festival of Lights with three million LED lights. The entire family will have fun taking rides on the BB&T Toyland Express, and seeing the Santa Claus, fairies in Fairyland, the Swan Lake lights show, and other festivities. Regular zoo admission prices apply.

Cincinnati Choo Choo

Christmas Nights of Lights

The Gift of Lights at The Christmas Ranch

The Christmas Ranch is a walk-through light show, featuring over a million glittering lights to delight the entire family. Train rides on The Reindeer Express and Wagon Rides ($4) are available every evening of the show. Admission is $15-$20/Vehicle.

Christmas Town & Garden of LIghts

Christmas Town is an annual event that celebrates the wonder that surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ. The Live Nativity is a realistic recreation of the events on the night of the birth of the Savior. The museum’s botanical gardens are lighted with thousands of multi-colored lights and decorations, so take a leisurely walk to enjoy the decorations. The family-friendly Christmas event also includes live music, a zip line, and more.  Admission is free, $5 parking.

Winterfest at Kings Island
