Winter Ice Village

Kids and adults will enjoy gliding across the ice while basking in the glow of the official Louisville Christmas tree at the United Trust Ice Rink in Triangle Park. The admission fee of $12, which includes skate rental, allows guests to skate for 90 minutes.

Lights Under Louisville

The MEGA Cavern is transformed into a huge holiday event every year during the Christmas season. Take the family for a ride through the underground light display to be dazzled by the sight of two million sparkling lights and over 850 Christmas light displays. Admission is $27 per the carload. Santa and some of his North Pole friends will be making a special stop at Louisville Zoo. Kids will get to visit with Santa and get a photo, and they will also meet Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman. Activities will include holiday craft, sing-alongs, and a journey through the heated buildings to interact with the zoo’s educators. Bring your camera to take pictures. Tickets range from $8.50-$20.95.
Christmas in the Park

Elizabethtown’s Christmas in the Park will feature over 100 lighted displays and glittering lights, which will reflect upon the lake. In addition to the lights displays, there will be a skating rink this year. Touring the park is free, but donations will be accepted. Skating at the ice rink is $5/Adults 18+ and $3/youth 17 years and under.
Merry & Bright Christmas Tours of My Old Kentucky Home

Tour the decorated mansion, adorned with Victorian-era decorations, and learn about the Victorian era Christmas customs. Admission is $12/person.
Santa Express and North Pole Express Christmas Trains

The Santa Express and the North Pole Express will take you on train rides which will last about 1.5 hours. Santa Claus will ride along on the train and visit with children, so bring your camera to take pictures. Children are encouraged to wear pajamas for comfort. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Tickets are $25/Adults and $20 for children 2-12. Children under the age o 2 will ride for free.
A Dickens Christmas

Take a step back in time to the world of English author Charles Dickens and his classic holiday story “A Christmas Carol.” Actors will entertain you with scenes from the story throughout the day. There will be entertainment and Christmas caroling to make your heart merry. Admission will be $10.
Illuminated Evenings at Shaker Village
