Gingerbread Village by Sheraton Seattle

The Sheraton Seattle Hotel’s 25th Annual Gingerbread Village will be themed “25 Years of Cheer: A Celebration of Seattle.” The entire family will enjoy charming village, which will represent Seattle’s historic cobblestone past and the future.

Winterfest is a five-week long celebration of the holidays at Seattle Center. Take the family to see the Christmas lights and to enjoy seasonal family-friendly activities during the holidays. Attractions include the Winter Train & Village model train, ice skating rink, music, entertainment, ice sculpting, and special events throughout the season. Check the website for the schedule of activities, most of which are free.

Santa’s Workshop at Bellevue Square

Bellevue Magic Season Ice Arena

The Bellevue ice skating arena is an outdoor skating rink that offers exhilarating exercise and family fun. They will offer free skating lessons on specified dates, which are listed on the website. Admission to the skating rink is $9 if you bring your own skates.  or $14, which includes $4 skate rental, or $10 for children 8 years old and under.

Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland at Redmond Town Center features family-friendly fun and activities for kids. Visit the mall during the holiday season and enjoy the Hyatt House Horse Carousel rides, Holiday Train rides, the synthetic skating rink, and Santa’s Workshop. Musical entertainment will be provided by local choirs, and bands on specified dates. There will be fees for some activities.

Redmond Town Center Synthetic Skating Rink

Take the family ice skating at the synthetic skating rink, which is covered for rain and shine enjoyment. The skating rink is one of the attractions of Redmond’s Winter Wonderland holiday celebration. Skating admission is $7 per session, which includes skate rental.

Santa’s Workshop at Country Village Bothell

Visit Santa and his reindeer will be at the decorated village between Keepsake Cottage and The Pet Place. A display of whimsical gingerbread houses will be on display in the workshop.

Issaquah Reindeer Festival

Reindeer Festival

Visit Santa and Santa’s reindeer Dasher and Blitzen through Christmas Eve, when they will return to Santa’s workshop for a busy night of delivering Christmas presents. Watch the model trains speed through fantastic landscapes in the model train village, themed after the Star Wars films. You can pick out and purchase a Christmas tree to take home.

Christmas at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum
