Family of the Year announces North American 2019 Tour with Lydia

Indie-rock band Family of the Year has announced a new North American Tour with fellow band Lydia as a special guest throughout the tour. The jaunt is slated to start April 16 in Dallas, TX and will continue in cities such as Austin, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, Portland, and San Francisco, CA before wrapping up in Los Angeles, CA May 18. Tickets for the tour are on sale now with a couple of shows being available via AXS. See the list of tour dates below.

Family of the Year released their latest album Goodbye Sunshine Hello Nighttime early last year, spawning two singles, "Hold Me Down" and "Let Her Go" along with their accompanying videos. The band recently sat down with AXS for a Patio Session Interview, discussing their latest record being their most raw and vulnerable record yet. They also talked about their perspective on being on the road, saying it is "grueling," and comparing it to the video game "Oregon Trail." Check out the interview above.

Lydia will be touring in support of their 2018 LP Liquor, with their last single release being Sunlight, with its accompanying video. The album follows their 2015 album, Run Wild, which the band worked with producers Colby Wedgeworth and Copeland's Aaron Marsh.
