Five acts to catch at Rock On The Range 2016

The 2016 installment of Rock on the Range is sold out, but if you're one of the lucky ones that obtained a ticket to this three day festival, you're set to witness some of the top acts in rock music. There's a plethora of acts spread between the weekend, and it might be kinda tough to figure out who to catch. We've decided to compile a list of five acts that are worth checking out. Rock on the Range takes place at the Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio from Friday, May 20 through Sunday, May 22. More info on the event can be found here.

Silver Snakes

Earlier this year, Los Angeles outfit Silver Snakes released their latest studio album Saboteur (Evil Ink Records) recently finished touring with Coheed and Cambria. The outfit are currently supporting Bring Me The Horizon's current U.S. tour, and they're coming to Rock on the Range to blow folks away with their mix of post-hardcore, doom, and industrial metal.

Code Orange

Pennsylvania hardcore group Code Orange have been delivering devastating riffs with tours alongside Every Time I Die, Circle Takes The Square, and Terror. The outfit recently signed with Roadrunner Records, and they'll be releasing a brand new album this fall. This month, the band are touring alongside Deftones before heading into the studio to create album number three.

Citizen Zero

Detroit alternative rock outfit Citizen Zero have been gaining a ton of buzz in their region with performances with acts such as Kid Rock, ZZ Top, and Halestorm. The outfit will release their debut studio album in the near future, and you can expect to hear some new material during their Rock on the Range performance. After their gig, the band will embark on a short tour supporting P.O.D.

Between The Buried and Me

North Carolina band Between The Buried and Me are one of the most talented metal acts in the world, and they're bringing some arena ready prog riffs to Rock on the Range. Last year, the band released their eighth studio album Coma Ecliptic, which topped the Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums, and Top Tastemaker Albums charts. The album tells the story a man in a comatose state traveling through his past lives.

Monster Truck

Since the release of their 2013 debut album Furiosity, Canadian hard rockers Monster Truck have found themselves performing all over North America and Europe with Alice In Chains and Vista Chino. With their new album Sittin' Heavy, the outfit are looking to spend more time on the road and making more fans along the way. The group will be busy this summer opening for Nickelback on their European tour.
