Flatbush ZOMBiES’ new album, Vacation In Hell hit stores on Friday and they released a brand-new short film to promote it. The film is titled "VACATION (The Movie)" and has some big names appearing in it.
In the film, Flatbush ZOMBiES is sitting in a diner trying to come up with some ideas. They want to figure out ways to get people to listen to their music. Ideas include Tide Pods, music that white people don't understand but will create memes about, and psychic vampires.
The rappers then get some very special advice from names like Ice-T, John Leguizamo and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The conversations are almost sketch-based but they also are intercut into the music video for the song "Vacation."
The film humorously stops the video at random times, such as when they ask if the video is working yet but realize that they haven't gotten to the chorus -- the only part anyone cares about. There is even a point where they started a brand-new song that they decided was amazing but wasn't a single before cutting back to "Vacation."
The single "Vacation" also features the talents of Joey Bada$$. Vacation in Hell is the second album by Flatbush ZOMBiES, following their 2016 release 3001: A Laced Odyssey, which peaked at second on the U.S. R&B charts and 10th on the Billboard 200.
