Following the release of two new Netflix specials, Dave Chappelle announces Red Rocks show

Dave Chappelle is back. And he’s on the rocks.

After releasing not one but two highly anticipated new comedy specials on Netflix earlier this week, Chappelle has announced his biggest show of the year, a date at Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre this summer. Chappelle will be hitting Red Rocks on Saturday, July 15. Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow, March 24, at 10am local time. Follow this link to get yours right here on AXS.com.

It goes without saying that Chappelle is one of the most brilliant comedic voices of his generation. When he walked away from “Chappelle’s Show” in 2005, the comedian kept a relatively low profile, but over the past several years, he has been returning to the spotlight with several high profile stand-up gigs, as well as his instantly iconic appearance on "Saturday Night Live" last fall.

Denver and Chappelle have a rich history together. Some of the first dates after his return to the stage in 2013 took place during a legendary run at the Comedy Works and his 2015 performance at Red Rocks was one of the hottest tickets of the summer.

Tickets to Chappelle’s Red Rocks show this summer are also expected to sell briskly, so be sure to log on to AXS.com tomorrow morning at 10am MST to get yours before they’re gone. Watch Chappelle’s recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in the video above.
