The 4th of July will be celebrated with family-friendly picnics, music, and fireworks in Miami and Fort Lauderdale in 2018. Kids and adults will have fun celebrating America’s birthday at Independence Day events in South Florida.

4th of July Miami at Bayfront Park
July 4 @ 10 a.m.
Bayfront Park, 301 N. Biscayne, Miami, FL 32132

A birthday bash for America will be held at Bayfront Park on Independence Day. The family-friendly event will include live music, children’s activities at Family Fun Zone, food vendors, and the Budweiser Beer Garden.  The “Biggest & Best fireworks show in Miami will begin at about 9 p.m. Remember to arrive early to get good parking and easier access. Admission will be free.

“Race to the Fourth” at Homestead-Miami Speedway

The City of Homestead will host the ‘Race to the Fourth” at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.  A sea of red, white, and blue will rain on the track and guests will enjoy the live music and food trucks. Kid-friendly activities will include amusement rides and rock climbing. The evening will be capped by a display of dazzling fireworks. Admission to the event will be free.

 Miami Beach Fire on the Fourth

The outdoor festival will offer a day of family-friendly fun, presented by Coca-Cola and Hotwire Communications. The Kids Zone will be open from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature games, crafts, sports, and contests. T-Mobile will show gratitude to active military personnel and veterans by treating them to the V.I.P area. Music will fill the air throughout the day, including tunes spun by DJ Corey Chase, and live music by Suenalo, Junkanoo Parade, Irma Thomas and The Professionals, and the Grammy-winning New Orleans band Rebirth Brass Band. As day turns to night, the night skyline will be illuminated by a spectacular show of fireworks at 9 p.m.

Coral Gables Fourth of July

This free festival on the grounds of the Biltmore Hotel is one of the most acclaimed events in Color Gables. The entire family will be a free concert at 7 p.m. and the fireworks spectacular at 9 p.m. Admission will be free and free shuttles will be available.

Fourth of July Celebration in Key Biscayne

The Fourth of July celebration is one of the highlights of summer in Key Biscayne. The parade will march on Crandon Blvd. at 11 a.m. A picnic at Village Green will follow the parade. The celebration will conclude at sunset as fireworks on the beach illuminate the skies.

Ft. Lauderdale 4th of July Spectacular

The celebration at Fort Lauderdale Beach will feature a patriotic extravaganza with live bands, a kid’s zone, contests, beach games, family activities, and more. The fireworks spectacular will illuminate the skies over Fort Lauderdale Beach at 9:30 p.m.

4th of July Picnic and Fireworks at Regatta Park

The entire family will enjoy the live music, games, kids’ activities, contests, photo booth, and face painting at this picnic on the waterfront in Coconut Grove. Bring chairs and/or blankets to sit on the lawn and watch the spectacular fireworks. Admission will be free and shuttles will be available.

South Beach Ocean Drive 4th of July Fireworks

The fireworks spectacular will be will be free to attend and open to the public. The dazzling fireworks will be visible from the many sidewalk cafes and rooftop venues in the area.
