The 4th of July will be celebrated with free and family-friendly events in San Antonio in 2018. Kids and adults will have a great time at the community celebrations and fireworks being held for Independence Day.

The Official City of San Antonio 4th of July Celebration
July 4 @ 8 a.m.
Woodlawn Lake Park, 1103 Cincinnati, San Antonio, TX 78201

San Antonio’s official 4th of July Celebration will be presented by the San Antonio Parks Foundation, the City of San Antonio, and the Parks and Recreation Department. The Independence Day Celebration will be a day of family-oriented fun, featuring the popular “Firecracker Fit-Family Walk/Run,” live music, free Zumba sessions, face painting, and more. The All-American Carnival-Games & Rides will be open starting at noon.  Food will be available for purchase. The U.S. Air Force Band of the West and Bidi Bidi Band will perform a Tribute to Selena. The spectacular H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza will light the skies over San Antonio at 9 p.m.

Fourth of July Artisan Show

Take the family for a stroll along the scenic River Walk to enjoy the artisan show, and to learn about the artworks. The art show will be near the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Building.

Fourth of July Spectacular
July 4 @ 6:30 p.m.
Landa Park Dance Slab, 164 Landa Park Dr, New Braunfels, TX 78130

The celebration in the City of New Braunfels will be a free community event sponsored by H-E-B.  A concert by Kori Free and The Groove Hounds will be followed by a show of fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

Leon Valley 4th of July Festival & Fireworks Spectacular

The City of Leon Valley will present this day of events, including music, carnival, and fun for the family. The Pioneer 5K Walk/Run at 6828 Poss Road will be at 7:30 a.m. The 4th of July Parade will step off at 10 a.m. at the DPS Center/LDS Church. The fireworks finale will illuminate the skies at dusk.

The Mayor’s Big Bang 4th of July Celebration

The Mayor’s Big Bang 4th of July Celebration in Corpus Christi be a multi-day event culminating with family-friendly activities on the 4th of July. There will be a food truck court, children’ activities, live music, games, and more. The Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration Parade presented by Flint Hills Resources will step off on July 4 at 6 p.m. The Harbor Bridge Light Show will be at 9 p.m., followed by the Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration Fireworks display presented by H-E-B at 9:30 p.m.
