39th Anniversary Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival

The largest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the Southwest will step off at 11 a.m. The parade attracts more than 125,000 spectators. The parade route will be two miles long and will include more than 90 floats with more than 1,700 participants. This large-scale event will be a terrific way to spend St. Patrick’s Day with the family. The day of fun will include activities for kids and adults. Food trucks will offer food and refreshments for sale.
Cowtown Goes Green

The family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebration will feature free activities for children, including face painting, live music, cow camp, gunfights, and more. The Western/Irish themed Cowtown goes Green parade will follow the 4 p.m. cattle drive. The activities are all free and open to the public.
World’s Only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade & Palooza

Take the family to have fun at the world’s only Pickle Parade in Mansfield. The parade will step off on March 17 at 1 p.m., with floats, bands, people, and animals. Plan to arrive early to enjoy the festivities. Hold onto your seat until the end, because that will be when the Pickle Queens will appear, accompanied by their Pickle Posse, the Pickle Protectors, and the Pickle Dude. There will be free live entertainment on both days of the festival. A new event in 2018 will be the Baby Parade on the Camp Anothen Community Stage on Sat. at 10 a.m. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will be there to sign autographs at 10 a.m.
McKinney St. Patrick’s Day Festival & Shamrock Run

The family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day Festival in McKinney will take place at Tupps Brewery in the historic McKinney Cotton Mill. The festival will follow the Shamrock Run and will include Irish bands, bagpipes, a kids’ play zone, food trucks, and more. The festival will be free to attend.

The North Texas Irish Festival is a three-day event that features music and entertainment for the entire family.
