St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival

The United Irish Societies of San Francisco will present the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. The highlight of the celebration will be the parade, which will step off at 2nd and Market Streets at 11:30 a.m. The parade will travel down Market Street to the Civic Center Plaza, which will be where the festival will take place. The parade will include music, dance troupes, floats, and more. Take the family to the festival after the parade and enjoy music, dancing, Irish culture, food, and a kids’ area with rides. The St. Patrick’s Day event will offer family-friendly fun for kids and adults.

There will be a weekend of festivities celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in the East Bay. The Dublin Lions Club Parade will step off on March 17 at 9:30 a.m. The weekend of un will include a pancake breakfast, a 5K walk/run, children’s activities, and more.
St. Patrick’s Day Dog Parade

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a colorful dog parade at Patrick’s Park. Dogs dressed in costumes will be the stars of this pet-friendly event. This will be a free event but register by March 12.
Old Sacramento St. Patrick’s Day Parade

One of the largest and most colorful parades in Northern California unites all cultures. The parade, which will step off at 1 p.m., will start at Neasham and Front Streets and will proceed throughout the national historic landmark district. Join the fun bay watching hundreds of marchers dressed in green create a colorful spectacle on St. Patrick’s Day. The family will have fun watching the Irish dancers dressed in elaborate Celtic costumes, marching bands, bagpipers, military regiments. And cultural organizations. More than 35,000 people turned up for the celebration in 2017. The day of fun and entertainment will begin at 11:30 a.m.

St. Patrick’s Day 5K and Kids Run

The Dolphin South End Runners will host the Kids Run at the Crissy Field/Golden Gate Promenade. The run will be free for kids aged up to 12 years old, $3/Youth ages 13-17, and $5/Adults 18+.
Flying Leprechaun Skydive!

The Hiller Aviation Museum will present an unusual St. Patrick’s Day event. The morning of activities will include free face painting and a jump house. Kids will have fun searching for hidden Leprechauns in the Museum’s Gallery to earn a treat from his pot o’ gold. The highlight of the celebration will be the Flying Leprechaun, who will delight the spectators. The event will be included with museum admission ($16/Adults, $11/Youth (5-17) and Seniors (65+), Free/children 4 and under with paid adult).
