Independence Day will be celebrated with many free events in the Orlando, Melbourne, and Daytona Beach in 2017.  Following are some 4th of July celebrations which will be free to attend in Sunny Florida.

4th of July in Downtown Orlando
July 4 @ 4 p.m.
Lake Eola Park, 195 Rosalind Ave., Orlando, FL 32801

The free celebration will include family fun, games, fanfare, live entertainment, and a large children’s play area. The fireworks spectacular will begin at 9:20 p.m.

Star Spangled Sanford July 4th on the Riverfront
July 4 @ 4 p.m.
Ft. Mellon Park, 600 East 1st St., Sanford, FL 32771

Spend the day in historic downtown Sanford exploring the shops, galleries, and restaurants. Then head to Mellon Park for the family-friendly free 4th of July celebration, which will include music, refreshments, and the fireworks display. 

Red Hot & Boom
July 3 @ 4 p.m.
Crane’s Roost Park, Altamonte Springs, FL

This free festival will include live music, entertainment, food vendors, and more.  The 2017 artist lineup will include Drey-C, Why Don’t We, AJR, Hey Violet, James Arthur, and Austin Mahone. The fireworks show choreographed to music simulcast by XL 106.7 FM, will begin at 9:30 p.m.

City of Winter Garden Party in the Park
July 4 @ 5 p.m.
Newton Park on Lake Apopka, 29 West Garden Ave., Winter Garden, FL

Bring a lawn blanket or chair to have a set and enjoy the relaxing activities at Newton Park. The fireworks show will begin at 9:15 p.m.

Independence Day Parade in Melbourne
July 4 @ 10 a.m.
Melbourne, FL 32901

The Independence Day Honor America Parade will step off at 10 a.m. in Melbourne.

4th of July Celebration and Fireworks in Melbourne

Front Street Park, 2210 Front Street, Melbourne, FL 32901

The Air Sports Parachute Team will join the celebration with a show of Uncle Sam skydivers carrying U.S. Flags at 8:15 p.m. The skydivers will exit the WWI “Tico Belle” C-47 and land on the Melbourne Causeway prior to the fireworks display. The fireworks show will be at 9 p.m. There will be a free shuttle running between Melbourne Auditorium and Front Street Park from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and again after the fireworks show until 10:30 p.m.

Party in Paradise
July 3 @ 7 p.m.
Main St., Daytona Beach, FL 32115

The “Party in Paradise” block party will include Hula dancers, snare drums, four stages of music, food vendors and more.
