On Aug. 18, French trip-hop producer Wax Tailor announced via Twitter that he’ll be touring the United States this fall. As part of his latest trip to the US, the iconic downtempo DJ will be playing shows at venues in Miami, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Las Vegas and Boston’s premier independent music venue The Sinclair. Tailor’s forthcoming tour will be supported by French trip-hop sing-songwriter Charlotte Savary and rapper Mattic. Tickets for what are sure to be some of the most compelling electronic music shows of the year are on sale now.
The man born Jean-Christophe Le Saoût began his career in the music industry as a radio host for a regional broadcaster in France in the ‘90s. Toward the end of the decade, Tailor founded a record label and received raved reviews for remixing tracks by groups like La Formule and Looptroop. In 2005, Tailor broke into the mainstream with the release of his acclaimed debut solo album, Tales of the Forgotten Melodies.
