From cars and tattoos to music, your complete guide to MUSINK 2017

It’s time for tattoos and car shows and music, oh my. That’s right. Travis Barker’s 10th annual MUSINK is coming to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif. from March 17-19, bringing along with it some sick punk rock festival fun. Want to know more about what’s happening in Southern California, this weekend? Here’s a how-to handbook on everything MUSINK.

So, what is MUSINK, you ask?
Great question. MUSINK is America’s largest tattoo and music festival. The three-day event will feature hundreds of incredible tattoo artists, the Low and Slow Car Show, a complete vendor village and some of the best punk rock bands in existence.

Who can I see there?
The lineup is as follows:

Friday, March 17
The Vandals
A Wilhelm Scream

Saturday, March 18
The Used
Story of the Year
Hell or Highwater

Sunday, March 19
Bad Religion
Swingin’ Utters
Unwritten Law

Are tickets still available?
Why, yes. Yes, they are. Head on over to and get to shopping. Weekend passes and VIP packages are also available. (This includes a VIP Lounge + Front of Stage Viewing Pass and a Travis Barker Ultimate VIP Meet & Greet Pass).

So, I’m spending the weekend at MUSINK. What can I expect?
A whole lot of good stuff, my friend. Aside from a punk rock paradise, there are literally hundreds of world-renowned tattoo artists onsite. Like literally – hundreds. For specific artists who will be inking, head here. FYI – there will be a few tattoo contests hosted by Jayme Foxx, as well. There’s also the Low and Slow Car Show, presented by Famous Stars and Straps and Tribal Gear Worldwide. This is where you’ll get to see the best selection of custom rides handpicked by Bobby Tribal and Travis Barker (including some from his own collection). And, of course, while you’re there you won’t be able to miss MUSINK’s vendor village: A multi-stop-shop for all of your merch, as well as your eating and drinking needs.

Wait, you said drinking? But I’m not 21!
And the good news is this is an all-ages show. Although you must be 21 for access to the Exclusive MUSINK VIP Lounge, there’s no age limit when it comes to who can attend. In fact, children under the age of seven will be admitted free of charge with an accompanying adult who has purchased a ticket. However, do keep in mind in a progressive punk rock universe there is loud music and quite possibly some subject matter not suitable for kids. Although all are welcome, use your judgment wisely. Also, if you’re thinking about getting a tattoo, please remember festival or not, YOU MUST BE 18. If you decide you want a piercing while you’re there, just like the state law says, you must be above the age of 16 (and have written parental consent).

What’s that? You say you want to go but you live far away?
Well, you’re in luck. The centrally located OC & Event Center is conveniently close to numerous hotels in the surrounding area. Embassy Suites in Irvine is once again MUSINK’s host hotel. For more info, go to MUSINK’s website. Directions to the OC & Event Center are also posted on the site for any out-of-towners.

Sounds like fun! How soon can I get there?
