After announcing a collaboration with Cindi Lauper for a big Australian tour in 2017, Blondie has added that they will be joining another iconic female-led band for a North American tour. Live Nation reported that Blondie and Garbage will hit the road together in 2017 for the Rage and Rapture tour, and will be hitting Dallas for a big concert on Aug. 12.

The Rage and Rapture tour will see Debbie Harry and Blondie, who had numerous hit songs in the 70s and 80s, teaming up with Shirley Manson’s Garbage, who was successful in the 90s. This is a big tour for Blondie, as Harry said that she will test out new songs from their upcoming album Pollinator, which goes on sale in May.

Garbage released a new album last year with Strange Little Birds and has a coffee table book called “This is the Noise That Keeps Me Awake” coming out this summer. The Dallas concert will be the final show on the tour and takes place one night after they play in Austin on Aug. 11.

Tickets for the Blondie and Garbage Rage and Rapture tour go on sale on Feb. 17 here. The concert at the South Side Ballroom takes place on Aug. 12.
