Soulful blues guitarist and singer Gary Clark Jr. is headed to The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles for four consecutive nights this coming November as part of his upcoming North American fall tour. Clark’s 2018 campaign is set to pick up starting in late July and carry on throughout the remainder of the summer months and into fall as the popular guitarist continues to promote the great American pastime known as blues-based rock and roll.

The 34-year-old musician from Austin will make appearances at the Jazz Aspen Labor Day event in Snowmass, Colorado at the end of August, followed by a concert at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sept. 5 and a pair of gigs opening up for Eric Clapton at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 6-7. Also included on the fall tour will be a handful of North American shows that were originally scheduled for May and June.

“I couldn’t be just a live musician, and I don’t think I could live in the studio. I like to get out and run around and see people moving and making noise,” Clark said in a 2017 interview pertaining to his latest album, Live North America 2016. “I spent a good 10 years playing four or five times a week around Texas and Louisiana, usually for two, three, four hours a night. There was something different every single night, and that's part of the fun of it and the excitement of the music I play. It comes from sitting in those smoky blues bars or those low-down dive bars. It’s kind of a must-do.”

Clark’s four-night residency at The Fonda Theatre begins on Nov. 12 and runs until Nov. 15. Tickets for the four shows, in addition to other select concerts on his 2018 fall tour are on sale now or will begin general on sale starting this Friday (June 29) and can be purchased by clicking here.
