George Lopez has had an amazing career that spans stand-up, movies, books, primetime and late-night television. Besides his stand-up, the legendary Lopez is perhaps most well known for his self-produced eponymous sitcom which aired for six seasons on ABC from 2002-2007. He also presided over his own late-night show, "Lopez Tonight" on TBS.
George Lopez is fresh on the heels of a tour with fellow comedians Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer dubbed The Get Down Tour. Lopez has a number of his own HBO specials including 2017’s “The Wall" (watch the trailer above), the Grammy-nominated “Tall, Dark and Chicano” in 2009 and 2007’s “America’s Mexican.”
Lopez is also active in the movie industry. He recently appeared in El Chicano alongside Raúl Castillo, Aimee Garcia, and Emilio Rivera and is also set to star in the film Walking with Herb--based on the Joe S. Bullock novel of the same name--with Edward James Olmos and Kathleen Quinlan.
