Georgia Swarm offers special ticket giveaway for home opener Dec. 30

The Georgia Swarm recently changed their website at www.georgiaswarm.com, and to celebrate the new launch, the Swarm is giving away four free tickets to one lucky fan to the Swarm regular season home opener against the Rochester Knighthawks at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, GA on Sat., Dec. 30 (tickets). 

The start time for the Swarm home opener against the Knighthawks at the Harrah's Cherokee Casino Field at the Infinite Energy Arena is 7:05 p.m. ET. In order to apply for the draw, a contestant must fill out a form on the Swarm website. 

It will be a very special evening for the Swarm franchise. They will be unveiling their 2017 National Lacrosse League Champion's Cup banner. The Swarm beat the Saskatchewan Rush two games to none in a best out of three series for their first ever Champion's Cup in the history of the franchise. The Swarm moved from Minnesota to Duluth in 2015. The Swarm were based in St. Paul, Minnesota from 2004 to 2015, and were the Montreal Express in 2002 before their rights were sold to Minnesota in 2004. 

In other Swarm news, the Swarm also have re-signed their coaching staff to a three year contract extension. The Swarm's head coach is Ed Comeau and his assistants are Sean Ferris and Dan Ladouceur. For Swarm tickets, please click here.
