There really is no other music festival like Jazz Fest. With the many local bands of New Orleans’ incredibly deep and diverse music scene mixing with marquee national and international acts like Maroon 5, Lorde, Nas, Usher and The Roots and Alabama Shakes, the first three days of Jazz Fest were like a delicious musical jambalaya (the actual jambalaya served at the festival is nothing to sneeze at either).

AXS.com photographer and contributor Amy Harris was on hand to capture the best moments of the fest’s first three days and although rain put a bit of a damper on Sunday’s festivities, the performers and fans all seemed to relish the food, fun, music and culture that makes Jazz Fest such a unique and spirited annual event. Check out her best shots from weekend one of Jazz Fest in the video embedded above and keep it here on AXS.com for coverage of weekend two at Jazz Fest, which kicks off tomorrow with performances from Widespread Panic, Darius Rucker, Tower of Power and dozens more.
