Swedish occult metal band GHOST is coming back to the U.S. for a brief tour this spring. The band revealed the new dates today, which starts May 5 in Riverside, Calif. and wraps up May 27 in Memphis, Tenn. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 2. Check out all the dates below.
GHOST plans to release their currently untitled fourth album late spring or early summer via Loma Vista Recordings. The album was recorded last year at Artery studios in Stockholm. Tom Dalgety produced the album while Andy Wallace mixed in January at Westlake Studios in West Hollywood, Calif.
Frontman and founder Tobias Forge, who performs as Papa Emeritus, spoke with Revolver about the upcoming album: "It is loosely themed around the concept of death and doom. It's a themed album around medieval times, but it's definitely clinging onto a lot of very current things."
Last year, GHOST released the live album, Ceremony and Devotion, digitally. It was released on physical formats just last month. The record spans the band's entire catalog and was recorded during their 2017 Popestar world tour.
