Prog-rock legends Goblin are gearing up for their first North American tour in three years. Beginning in October, the band will embark on The Sound of Fear tour. Dates kick off Oct. 25 in Chicago and will run until November with the final show on Nov. 12 in New York City. Joining them on this outing are Morricone Youth and Mondo Drag, who will switch off opening the show on various dates. Check out the dates below. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Aug. 4) at 10 AM.

Featuring the band’s original rhythm section, they plan on performing songs they didn’t get around to on their previous tour along with some new material.

In a press release, the band stated "We feel that it’s time to return to our fans and share new emotions with them & for those who missed the first round. With the original rhythm section back in the line-up we’ll present parts of horror scores never performed live before as well as some of our new work.”

Goblin last toured in 2014 when they released the album Four of a Kind. The follow-up, Goblin Rebirth, followed in 2015. Though they’ve been recording music since the 70s, they’re best remembered for scoring horror films “Suspiria,” “Zombi,” and “Dawn of the Dead.” The current lineup includes Massimo Morante, Maurizio Guarini, Fabio Pignatelli, and Agostino Marangolo.
