Goo Goo Dolls hitting Dallas for brand new summer tour

The Goo Goo Dolls started playing together 30 years ago and they are not finished yet. The band is out on tour starting this summer and have a new EP coming out called You Should Be Happy. The brand new Pavilion at Irving Music Factory sent out a tweet that said Goo Goo Dolls and Phillip Phillips will play in Dallas on Sept. 6.

You Should Be Happy is an EP that has six songs, mixed with new music, unreleased songs and at least one cover. This new tour is titled the Long Way Home Summer Tour.

The Dallas tour stop is at the brand new Pavilion at Irving Music Plaza, which opens this year as one of the biggest music venues in the DFW area. This is a new date that gives the Goo Goo Dolls 2017 tour two different Texas stops with a concert lined up for the night after Dallas in Houston at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Tickets for the Goo Goo Dolls Dallas concert are on sale here. Tickets for the concert at the Pavilion at Irving Music Factory on Sept. 6 run from $19 up to $375. Phillip Phillips will serve as the opening act for the concert.
