Gov't Mule announces 'Dark Side of the Mule' Red Rocks show

Southern jam-rockers Gov’t Mule have announced a show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sept. 14, and they’ve got some special plans for their triumphant return to the famed venue. Gov’t Mule guitarist Warren Haynes will open the show with a solo set before taking the stage with Gov’t Mule for a set of original Mule music. The band--and probably some special guests--will close out the night with a set of Pink Floyd covers dubbed “Dark Side of the Mule.” Click here to find Gov’t Mule Red Rocks tickets on AXS.

In a Facebook post, the group mentioned that the Red Rocks show will boast the first ever Dark Side of the Mule west of the Mississippi and that they couldn’t wait to “light up The Rocks.” You can check out the post and artwork below. In 2014 Gov’t Mule released a live album of Dark Side of the Mule recorded in 2008. You can listen to the entire album in the video above.
