Grammy Awards 2019: Complete list of nominees
Recording Academy/YouTube

2019 Grammy Awards nominees have been announced. See the official nominations announcement video by playing the video above, then view the complete list of nominees here at AXS.

The artists with multiple nominations this year included Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Drake and Brandi Carlile. Movie music was also a big part of this year's nominated class, with the music from "Black Panther" and "A Star Is Born" each receiving Grammy nominations. The "Black Panther" soundtrack album is up for the Album of the Year Award. It's rare to see a soundtrack nominated for one of the most prominent Grammys, and if it wins, that's going to be a small piece of music history for one of the year's biggest movies.

It's also a good year for NBC's singing competition "The Voice" as three of the show's current coaches earned Grammy nominations. Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine (with his band Maroon 5) are all Grammy nominees in 2019. Former contestants Nicolle Galyon (from season 2) and Koryn Hawthorne (from season 8) are also Grammy-nominated. While "The Voice" may not be producing chart-topping singers, it is turning out some critically acclaimed artists.

But will television and film wind up ruling over music's biggest night? Will music's biggest names take home more awards? Or will there be an upset or two this year? The 2019 Grammy Awards will be handed out Sunday, Feb. 10 on CBS. More information about this year's nominations is available here.
