Just last week Haim released a brand new song, and now just six days later the pop rock band put out another track from their upcoming album Something to Tell You. The track is entitled "Want You Back," and they premiered it overseas in the U.K. on BBC Radio 1.
Not only did the song debut on MistaJam's radio show via BBC Radio 1, but he also talked with the ladies of Haim. During the interview, he referred to "Want You Back" as the first single from their upcoming second studio album. That means the song they released last week, which was “Right Now,” might not be the album's lead single.
Haim's upcoming album Something to Tell You is set to come out July 7. It'll be the follow-up to their debut release, Days Are Gone, which came out back in September of 2013. During that same interview with MistaJam, the band talked about how the new record sounds like "them." They didn't try to sound like anyone else and put all their love into it.
Next weekend on May 13, Haim will perform on the NBC late night show, "Saturday Night Live." Chances are, they'll perform "Want You Back" and "Right Now." When it comes to performing live in concert, Haim has some U.K. and North American festivals booked. With their new album being released July 7 expect headlining shows to be announced soon.
