Bob Dylan and His Band
Oct. 24 @ 8 p.m.
Au-Rene Theater at Broward Center for the Performing Arts - 201 SW 5th Ave, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312
Some would say the week before is too early to start celebrating Halloween, but not when Bob Dylan is in town. One of the greatest singer-songwriters in the entire history of music is bringing Bob Dylan and His Band to Ft. Lauderdale as part of their fall 2019 tour. Fresh off the release of his latest record More Blood, More Tracks, Dylan has all kinds of music and stories he can delight the audience with. Play the video above to hear a previously unreleased take of "You're A Big Girl Now."
Nothing exemplifies the Miami music scene like a good DJ set. That doesn't change on Halloween weekend, as DJ Khaled will be in Miami Beach. As audiences who have seen him on TV know, Khaled has a big personality to go along with his big hits, and he'll fill the dance floor easily with his late-night set. Music fans looking to have an early Halloween party will want to snag tickets to this concert.
Speaking of music legends, Lindsey Buckingham certainly falls into that category. He's become a superstar not once but twice, first as a member of Fleetwood Mac and then again with his solo career. Buckingham is currently touring in support of his Solo Anthology: The Best of Lindsey Buckingham compilation album, which collects his individual work. Considering that he's playing this concert just days before the Halloween holiday, perhaps the encore will be his feel-good hit "Holiday Road."
Alice in Chains
Oct. 28 @ 7 p.m.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, FL 33314
Music fans looking for something with a little more edge for Halloween need only to seek out Alice in Chains. The hard rockers are back on tour this fall, bringing all of their classic hits along with them. Audiences should also expect them to play heavily from their new album, Rainier Fog, which was just released in August. However their setlist is put together, they'll have one of the more in your face concerts of the holiday weekend.
Oct. 28 @ 8 p.m.
Pompano Beach Amphitheater - 1806 NE 6th St, Pompano Beach, FL 33060
80's rockers Toto have enjoyed somewhat of a recent resurgence in popularity thanks to renewed interest in their single "Africa." The song may be one of the most timeless in music, because it has aged incredibly well and continues to appeal to audiences decades after its release. It will almost certainly be in the plan for the band's Pompano Beach concert, which is part of their 40 Trips Around The Sun Tour. Fans who are into rock, but want it to be more feel-good, have a good time kind of rock rather than hard rock, will want to spend their Halloween weekend with Toto.
