All Hallows’ Eve

The Ohio History Center will present two nights of old-fashioned fun, in 1890s style. The fun will include a retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Washington Irving, as well as pumpkin carving, a bonfire, and Halloween characters. General admission free for children 5 and under.
Boo at the Zoo

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, 4850 Powell Rd., Powell, OH 43065
Boo at the Zoo presented by Mist Twist will be held over two weekends and will offer family-friendly fun and activities for kids. Guests younger than 13 years old will be encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes. The Halloween themed event will be included with general admission to the zoo.
Halloween Pet Parade and Fall Festival

The 18th Annual Halloween Pet Parade and Fall Festival will be fun for the entire family, including the family pet. There will be prizes for funniest, scariest, duo, most creating, cutest, and group costumes. There will also be Halloween activities for kids. Admission and parking will be free.

The 24th Annual Halloween concert will feature student vocalists and instrumentalists dress in costume for Halloween. This popular event will be free and open to the public.
Monsterfield Masquerade: Downtown Trick or Treat and Halloween Parade

Downtown Mansfield — N. Main St., Mansfield, OH 44902
Downtown Mansfield will present this family-friendly trick-or-treat and Halloween Parade. More than 60 merchants will participate in the Trick-or-Treat, so kids will get lots of treats. The Halloween Parade will step off at noon at the intersection of Main St. and Fifth St. This will be a free event.
Trick or Treat for Kids and Dogs

Historic Dublin, High St. at Bridge St., Dublin OH 43017
Historic Dublin will offer trick-or-treating and activities for kids and dogs. This will be a free event.
Halloween Family Funday
Oct. 29 @ 11 a.m.

The event will begin with Trick-or-Treat for costumed kids, who can get a bag for their treats on the porch. The Columbus Children’s Theatre will be on the pavilion offering a craft for kids. The Columbus Zoo will be on the site with live animals. Family Funday will be a free event that will be fun for kids.

Halloween fun for the family will include hayrides, storytelling, trick-or-treating, haunted garden, haunted house, entertainment, food and more. Haunted Village will be free to attend.
