Children in Nashville will enjoy the chance to dress in creative costumes to go to the Halloween events being held in 2017. Get ready to take the family out for some of the events in the area and to go trick-or-treating this season.

BooVille will offer family fun for Halloween on weekends this October. Activities will include trick-or-treating, costume contest for kids aged 10 and younger, bounce house, Monster Mash Dance Party, Hay Bale Hill, Scarecrow Alley Hayride, Tommy tonsils carnival maze and more. Tickets will be $9.99 per person.

Boo at the Zoo
Oct. 13-15, 20- 22, & 26-29 @ 5 p.m.

The Nashville Zoo will hold 10 nights of Halloween fun for families, presented by The Children’s Hospital at Centennial. Tickets will include Enchanted Village, Frightful Farm, entertainment, games, carousel rides, trick-or-treating, hayrides, and more. See the zoo website for ticket prices.  

Community Trick-or-Treat @ Belle Meade Plantation

Dress in Halloween costumes and join the Community Trick-or-Treat, a free family event with treats and prizes. Young guests will be invited to the Carriage House for a costume contest at 2 p.m.

Pumpkinfest 2017

This will be the 34th Pumpkinfest held in Historic Downtown Franklin. The family-friendly festival draws about 65,000 guests for family-friendly autumn fun. There will be free children’s activities at the Church of the City Kids’ Zone, with pony rides, bouncy houses, face painting, and more. Kids will enjoy the costume contests for children grouped in age categories. The event will also include a street fair, music, food, arts & crafts, and more. Admission to the festival will be free.

Halloween at the Mansion

Halloween at the Mansion is an annual community event for the family. This free Halloween celebration will include pumpkin painting, hay rides, storytelling, trick-or-treating, and more.  

2017 Halloween in the Park

2425 N. Mt. Juliet Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN 37122

This family-friendly celebration will include costume contests, petting zoo, hay rides, inflatables, and free candy. New this year will be a scarecrow contest at Charlie Daniels Park.  Admission will be free.

Halloween in the Park will replace the annual Pumpkin Festival. The family-friendly event will include trick-or-treating with local businesses, J, games, a costume contest, storytelling, and more. Carnival type food will be available for purchase.
