Hay Day Fall Festival
Oct. 7 @ 12 p.m.
South Park Fairgrounds, Brownsville Rd., South Park, PA

Hay Day will offer free activities for the entire family, including a hay maze, hay rides, bounce-house, trackless train, arts & crafts, petting zoo, puppet shows, face painter, magic, and balloon artists.

Punkin Chunkin Fun
Oct. 21 @ 11 a.m.
Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater, 200 Hartwood Acres, Pittsburgh, PA 15238

Allegheny County Parks and SHARP Robotics from Sarah Heinz House will build a full-size trebuchet to launch pumpkins across the field. Kids will be able to make their own catapult and enjoy games, activities, crafts, and family fun.

Owl-O-Ween
Oct. 21 & 28 @ 11 a.m.
National Aviary — 700 Arch St, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15212

Dress in Halloween costumes for the National Aviary’s harvest festival. Kids and adults will be awed by close contact with owls, raptors, and other creatures of the night. General admission $14-$15.

Night Walk on the Panhandle Trail
Oct. 21 @ 7 p.m.
110 Noblestown Rd., Carnegie, PA 15106

The Panhandle Trail will be lit by carved jack o’ lanterns and bonfires. Kids will love the story time near the Quarry bonfire, treat bags for children 11 and under, hot chocolate, and sweet cider. This will be a free event, but donations will be welcome. Costumes will be encouraged for children, adults, and volunteers. Parking will be available at the Public Works Yard.

Halloween Happenings
Oct. 27 @ 4 p.m.
Phipps Conservatory, One Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Visit the spook-tacular gardens at Phipps for a family-friendly day of activities. Dress in costumes to add to the fun and excitement as kids enjoy kid-friendly entertainment. The Halloween event will be free with regular admission ($11.95-$17.95)

Super Science Saturday: Boo-seum Trick or Treat
Oct. 28 @ 12 p.m.
Carnegie Museum of Natural History, 4400 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Dress in costume to receive a small prize at this event. Trick-or-Treat around the mummies and dinosaurs throughout the museum. The program will be free with regular museum admission.

Mt. Lebanon Recreation’s Pumpkin Patch Parade
Oct. 28 @ 11 a.m.
Mt. Lebanon, Washington Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228

Dress in costume to add to the fun while watching the parade. Children with adult chaperones will be able to join the parade after the firetrucks and scarecrow/pumpkin inflatable passes. Children will be able to trick or treat at participating businesses.

Carnegie Borough Children’s Halloween Promenade
Oct. 28 @ 12 p.m.
Main Street Bridge, Carnegie, PA

Kids in costume promenade in downtown Carnegie, where treat bags and surprises and for kids will be passed out.  There will be prizes for costumes in five age group, open to infants thru kids in sixth grade.

Halloween Parade
Oct. 28 @ 10:30 a.m.
601 Thorn St., Sewickley, PA 15143

The parade will begin at the Municipal Building and will return to the building for treats bags, hot dogs, and drinks. Sewickley Business District Trick-or-Treating will run from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Annual Halloween Parade
Oct. 28 @ 1 p.m.
Robinson Town Centre, Park Manor Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15205
