Belmont Park will offer Halloween activities every weekend in October. Dress kids in costumes for the Trick-or-Treating (6:30-7:30 p.m.), which will be free for children 12 and under. There will be costume contests on the main stage every Saturday, and Halloween crafts every Sunday. Admission will be free, but there will be fees for rides and some activities.
Hauntfest on Main

There will be family-friendly and kid-friendly attractions at Hauntfest in El Cajon will include costume contests, pumpkin patch, carnival rides, games, Kidz Zone, face painting, crafts, inflatables, music, car show, and Candy Challenge Activities.
Haunted Aquarium: Sea Monster Mash

HalGLOWeen at the Zoo

HalGLOWeen at the Discovery Outpost will offer family fun at the San Diego Zoo. The family-friendly event will feature DJ music, bubble fun, and special entertainment. Children aged 11 years and younger will be admitted to the zoo free throughout the month of October when accompanied by a paying adult.
The Boulevard Boo! Parade

The 13th year of the Halloween parade will feature over 70 entries traveling over one mile. The parade will include some spooky entertainment.
Halloween Family Day

Halloween Family Day is an annual event that is free and open to the public. Over two dozen museums and attractions will present costume parades, free craft projects, contents, and other surprises. The Halloween-themed celebration will include mini-carnival games, a doggie costume contest in Spanish Village, and a rooftop pumpkin drop at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Participating museums will admit children 12 and under free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Family Fall Festival

Fall-themed and Halloween-themed activities will be fun for the family at the Family Fall Festival. Children can dress in costume for the costume contest and have a photo taken with the Great Pumpkin. Activities will include a petting zoo, Halloween crafts, and pumpkin painting. Children will be admitted free with a paid admission (adults $14). There will be a fee for some activities.
Mall-O-Ween Monster Mash

The first-ever Mall-O-Ween at the Hazard Center will feature family-fun with a kid-friendly jamboree of carnival games, costume contests, music, crafts, refreshments and more. Star 94.1 will spin music like “Thriller” by Michael Jackson and “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder.
