Children will love dressing up in their Halloween costumes and going out to the special events in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2017. Halloween events will be family-friendly and kid-friendly and not-so-scary fun for all.

Pumpkin Painting for Kids
Oct. 15 @ 1 p.m.
Tulsa Botanic Garden, 3900 Tulsa Botanic Dr., Tulsa, OK 74127

Kids will learn the art of pumpkin painting at this activity led by local artist Rosemary Daugherty. The fee for the materials will be $5-$6. Admission prices are free for members of the Garden, Adults (13+)/$8, youth (3-12)/$4, and children 2 and under are free.

Pleasant Valley Farms

The entire family will enjoy the farm festival at Pleasant Valley, where activities will include hayrides, 18-hole miniature golf, Punkin’ Chunkin’, bluegrass music, and more. There will be a $1 entry fee and concessions will be available for purchase.

Kiddie Park Spook-A-Rama

The 11th Annual Spook-A-Rama will be a Halloween extravaganza with scary and not-so-scary attractions. Children can dress up in their Halloween costumes for the costume parade and trick-or-treating. There will also be Halloween games, rides, magic, and more. Ride tickets will be 50 cents each, and the rides take one ticket. The Haunted House will take two ride tickets.

Bixby Mummy & Me Halloween Dance

Bring children in costume to the Halloween Dance in Bixby, where there will be costume contests, games, dance competitions, and refreshments. Admission $5/person.  

O’Brien Park Halloween Flashlight Candy Hunt

Dress in costume for the costume contest and bring a flashlight for the candy hunt. This will be a free event for children ages 3-12 years old.

Brick or Treat

Bricktown District, Downtown Oklahoma City,  OK 73102

Hosted by the Bricktown Association, this trick-or-treat event will offer Halloween activities and fun for girls and boys. Kids should dress in costume to get ready for the fun. Start at Mickey Mantle Plaza at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and pick up a map. Activities will include free pumpkin painting and a free showing of the movie Hocus Pocus. Concessions will be available to purchase.

Hallow Marine at the Oklahoma Aquarium

The Oklahoma Aquarium will hold their annual five-day event for Halloween, featuring indoor trick-or-treating, games, PeeWee Pirate Zone, inflatables, a treasure hunt, and dive shows with mermaids and pirates. All exhibits will be open during this special event, so plan to see the fish and marine life while you are at the aquarium. Kids will be encouraged to dress in costume to add to the fun. Tickets: $7/Kids, $10/Adults, 2 and under/free.

HallowZooeen at the Tulsa Zoo

The Tulsa Zoo will present a not-so-spooky, family-friendly event for five evenings. Activities will include trick-or-treating, carnival-style games, and more. They will also offer haunted train rides ($5) and rides on the Cross-Eyed Carousel ($1). Tickets to HalloZooeen will be $8 for non-members and $7 for members.
